we are open for new sailing members and visiting yachtsmen are always welcome.

the Alexandra Yacht Club offers a varied sailing programme including:

	social sailing
	competitive dinghy racing
	Nore Race
	fun sail & ray days
	inter-club activities
	trips organised to sailing events

the club also has mooring and jetty facilities, changing rooms & safe storage.

sailing meetings are usually held on the 1st Friday of each month.

Nore Race was excellent this year with many of the AYC boats taking part. Greg Solkhon came forth in his class, well done Greg. See selection of Nore Race photos, album of photos will be available in the club house from this weekend (17 June onwards).

Peter Scott – Club’s Hon Solicitor
Peter Scott is taking part in the Fastnet Race, one of the world’s toughest races. Here’s a photo of Peter in practice (waving at us), on way to Le Havre (Brighton in the background). I am sure we all wish Peter best of luck
